Privacy Policy

Invoice Generator is designed to process your invoice information primarily in your browser. Your business details, client details, invoice items and PDF generation happen on your device, not on our servers, for the current version of this application.

If you turn on "Save business details on this device," your business name, address, contact details, tax/VAT number, logo, default currency, default tax rate and bank details are saved in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device — we don't receive it, and it isn't shared with any other browser or device. You can clear it at any time using the "Clear saved details" button in the invoice generator.

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and use the invoice generator — for example, which pages are viewed and whether an invoice was downloaded or printed. Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to do this. We do not send it your business details, client details, invoice content, or anything else you type into the tool — only anonymous, aggregate usage data such as page views and which buttons were used. You can control this through your browser's cookie or tracking settings.

We do not require an account, and we do not upload your invoice data, client details or logo to a server for storage. We do not currently show advertising.

As we introduce optional features — such as user accounts, cloud-saved invoices, or advertising for free users — this policy will be updated to reflect exactly what data is collected, why, and how it's used. We will not silently expand data collection without updating this page.

This site is hosted on standard cloud infrastructure (such as Vercel), which may log basic, aggregated technical request data (like IP address and request timing) for security and reliability purposes, independent of the invoice data you enter into the tool.
