Privacy Policy

Taskmoro (taskmoro.com) is a website that provides free calculators, tools, guides and other resources, grouped into everyday calculators and tools (including text tools and a QR Code Generator), UAE employment calculators, business and pricing calculators, and invoicing (an Invoice Generator and invoicing guides). In this policy, "Taskmoro", "we" and "us" refer to the operator of taskmoro.com.

Taskmoro does not require an account and has no server-side database for the content you enter into its tools. The tools run in your browser. The site does, however, use Google Analytics 4 for usage measurement and loads Google AdSense for advertising, and those Google services use cookies and similar identifiers as described below.

The details you type into the Invoice Generator — your business details, your client's details, line items, notes, bank details and so on — and the figures, dates and text you enter into the calculators, text tools and QR Code Generator (including any Wi-Fi password or contact details you put in a QR code) are processed in your browser to produce the result or document. This content is not sent to a Taskmoro server. You don't have to provide any of it to use the site; fields you leave blank in the Invoice Generator simply don't appear on the invoice. Inputs to the calculators, text tools and QR Code Generator are not saved.

While you work on an invoice, the current draft — including client details, line items and any logo you add — is automatically saved in your browser's local storage, so you don't lose your work if you refresh or close the tab. This happens automatically, with no separate opt-in. It is stored only on your device and is not uploaded to a server. Use "Reset Invoice" to clear the saved draft.

If you turn on "Remember my business details," your business name, address, contact details, tax/VAT number, logo, default currency, default tax rate and bank details are saved in your browser's local storage so you don't have to retype them. This is opt-in, stored only on your device, and never includes client information. Use "Clear saved business details" in the Invoice Generator to remove it.

The Invoice Generator also remembers your last-used template, accent colour and section layout, and whether you have completed or skipped the product tour, in your browser's local storage. These preferences contain no invoice content.

Taskmoro's own code does not set cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for the Invoice Generator features described above. If you withdraw analytics consent, it also uses your browser's session storage (or, where that is unavailable, the browser window's name) to note the time of the page reload described under "Your choices and consent", so the page is not reloaded repeatedly. That note contains only a timestamp. Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which are loaded on the site, may set or read cookies and similar identifiers on your device, as described in the next two sections. You can view, block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser's settings.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are viewed, and when an invoice is started, downloaded, printed or reset, or the product tour is completed or skipped. When an invoice is downloaded or printed, the event includes limited details about the document: its type (a predefined title such as "Invoice" or "Tax Invoice", or simply "custom" if you typed your own title — the text you typed is not sent), the currency, the number of line items, and whether tax, deductions, signatories, amount in words or advanced options were used. We do not send Google Analytics your business details, client details, line-item descriptions, amounts, notes or bank details.

Google Analytics data is not anonymous. Google Analytics uses cookies (such as _ga) to recognise your browser across visits, and Google receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details when the script loads. We see this information in aggregated reports and do not use it to identify you personally. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our Google Analytics property and Google's own policies.

If you search for a tool from the homepage, your search term appears in the address of the Tools page (for example /tools?q=loan). When Google Analytics is loaded (see "Your choices and consent"), it may record that address, including the search term, as part of the page view.

Taskmoro loads the Google AdSense advertising script on its public pages. It loads after the site has applied its consent defaults: for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising storage, ad personalisation and ad user data are set to denied until a choice is made in Google's consent message (see "Your choices and consent"). When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Other third-party vendors or ad networks that Google allows may also serve ads on this site and may use cookies for that purpose.

You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices. See also how Google uses cookies in advertising.

The AdSense script does not give Taskmoro or Google access to the content you enter into the tools.

Taskmoro uses Google's consent management platform (Google Privacy & messaging). It is configured to show Google's consent message to visitors whom Google identifies as being in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, with options to consent, not consent, or manage your choices. Google uses the choices you make there for advertising.

For those visitors, the site does not load Google Analytics unless you consent to analytics in that message. Before you choose, and if you do not consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics events are sent. If Google's consent tool cannot load (for example, because it is blocked), Google Analytics is not loaded either. For visitors to whom Google reports that these European consent rules do not apply, Google Analytics loads as described above.

If the European rules apply to you, a "Privacy and cookie settings" button appears below once Google's consent tool has loaded. It reopens Google's consent message so you can change or withdraw your choice. If you withdraw analytics consent after Google Analytics has loaded, the site tells Google Analytics that consent is denied and reloads the page; after the reload, Google Analytics is not loaded. Requests that were already in progress may still complete before the reload. Cookies that were already set, such as _ga, are not deleted automatically.

If the button is not shown — for example because the European rules do not apply to you, or Google's consent tool is blocked or has not loaded — you can still delete this site's cookies, including any stored consent choice and analytics cookies, in your browser settings, and use the Google opt-out options listed above.

The Contact page opens your own email app with your message pre-filled; nothing is submitted from the page itself. If you send us an email, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, and use it only to respond to you.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which may process technical request data (such as IP address, browser details and request time) to deliver the site and keep it secure and reliable. This is separate from the content you enter into the tools, which is not sent to the server.

Data stored in your browser's local storage remains there until you clear it — using "Reset Invoice" or "Clear saved business details" in the Invoice Generator, or by clearing your browser's site data. We don't have access to it, so we can't delete it for you. Google Analytics and Google AdSense data is retained by Google according to its policies and, for analytics, the retention settings of our Google Analytics property.

The site is served over HTTPS. Because the content you enter into the tools is processed in your browser rather than stored on our servers, there is no Taskmoro database of that content that could be breached. Anyone with access to your browser on your device may be able to see a saved draft or saved business details, as with any locally saved browser data.

Taskmoro is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We will update this policy when the site's data practices change — for example, if we add accounts or cloud storage — and change the "Last updated" date above. Consent is already handled by Google's consent message, shown to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and the "Privacy and cookie settings" button described under "Your choices and consent", which reopens that message so you can change or withdraw your choice.
