QR Code Generator
Create free QR codes for links, text, Wi-Fi networks and contact cards, and download them as PNG or SVG.
https:// is added for you if you leave it out.
Higher levels still scan when part of the code is damaged or covered, but make the code denser.

What this tool does
Create a QR code for a website link, a short piece of text, a Wi-Fi network or a contact card, then download it as a PNG image or a scalable SVG. The codes are static: the content is stored in the code itself, so they keep working without a sign-up, a subscription or a redirect service.
How to use it
- Choose URL, Text, Wi-Fi or Contact.
- Fill in the details. The code updates as you type.
- Scan it with your phone camera to check it works.
- Download a PNG for screens and documents, or an SVG for print.
What each type does when scanned
- URL opens the website.
- Text shows the text on screen.
- Wi-Fi offers to join the network without typing the password, on most iPhone and Android phones.
- Contact offers to save a contact card (vCard) with the name, company, phone, email and website you entered.
Tips for reliable scanning
- Print codes at least 2 × 2 cm, and larger when people will scan from a distance.
- Keep the white border around the code and use dark on light colours.
- Shorter content makes a simpler code that scans faster. Use high error correction for codes that may get scratched or partly covered.
- Test the printed code before you print a large batch.
Privacy and limitations
The QR code is created in your browser, so the link, text, Wi-Fi password or contact details you enter are not sent to Taskmoro. Anyone who scans a Wi-Fi code can read the password, so only share it where you would share the password itself. Static codes cannot be edited after printing, and they do not track scans. Very long text will not fit in one code.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The content is stored inside the code, so it works for as long as the link or details inside it are valid. There is no Taskmoro redirect that could stop working.
Is there a limit on scans?
No. Static QR codes can be scanned any number of times.
Can I change a QR code after printing?
No. To change what a static code does, create and print a new code. If you expect a link to change, point the code at a page you control.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
Use PNG for websites, documents and messages. Use SVG for printing, signs and design software, because it stays sharp at any size.
